Feathers Pattern by The Pattern Basket

Feathers is not paper pieced and no template is used.  

The block is made with traditional piecing methods.

I used a beautiful moda collection called Strawberry Fields Revisited by Fig Tree.  

The block measures 8 1/2" and 8" sewn into the quilt. 

Finished quilt measures 60 1/2" by 70"

Fabric Requirements

One Moda Layer Cake

One Fat Quarter brown for the beaks

3 3/4 Yards for the background

2 Yards for the border

3/4 Yard for the binding

4 Yards for the backing
